Hennepin County has amazing natural resources. Our rivers and land have provided us with the opportunity to farm, do business, and relax with our loved ones. In district 7, we have a both suburban and rural spaces, and from the people I’ve talked to, this is what makes it so special! Recognizing that clean water, green trees, and quiet spaces to relax are what makes this the community to raise families and settle down, means we need to have leaders who will work to conserve and preserve our environment.
I also know that if we don’t act now, climate change will have an ever increasing impact on our homes and our communities. Working to put Hennepin County on course to meet and exceed carbon reduction goals by 2030 is not only my promise to my kids, but to all of us!
